Who Has the Cheapest Auto Insurance – Well I know
Everyone thought it was really funny when I spent as much time figuring out who has the cheapest auto insurance as I did deciding what car to buy. It’s important! Seriously, how are you supposed to figure out what you can afford if you don’t know the whole picture. Buying a car without looking into car insurance at the same time is like not leaving any gas money in your budget. You don’t just buy a car. You buy a lot of responsibility, too, a lot of which is financial.
Because of my careful planning, I knew exactly what I needed to do. When it came time to buy the car, I already had my insurance agent waiting for my call so that we could just plug in the final numbers and I’d be ready to go. I ended up having to go to three different dealerships until I found one who was willing to give me the price I wanted. Admittedly, I was being a bit difficult but I really wanted to keep my car payment under $300 a month so I didn’t stop until I found someone who was willing to do that for me without raising the interest rate too much.
After that, I just called the insurance agent and the whole thing was taken care of in a matter of minutes. My budget was exactly where I wanted it to be and there were no surprises. I knew exactly how much I wanted to spend and, thanks to my careful planning about both the car and my auto insurance, I knew exactly how much car I could afford. By getting affordable insurance coverage, too, I feel like I beat the system. One way I saved was by getting very cheap car insurance no deposit; I mentioned this on a previous blog post.
What’s really funny is now that I’ve told everyone how successful I was in my mission, that I paid exactly what I wanted and found insurance that fit right into my plan, they all want me to help them do the same. When someone I know is ready to buy a new car, I will inevitable get a text or a phone call asking for advice.
I always help my friends and family in the end, but you can be sure I give them a little bit of a hard time first. Everyone laughed at my method! Now, it’s saving everyone I know money.
Very Cheap Car Insurance No Deposit – Lucky trip
My best friend and I decided to take a gap semester. Is that even a thing? We didn’t want to take a whole year off after high school but we had some adventures we wanted to go on before heading to college. So, we decided to delay classes and start in the middle of the school year so we could spend a few months driving across country.
She was going to buy a car to take to college and we figured, why not drive it on our trip? Because we needed to save as much money as we could for the trip, she figured she’d look for very cheap car insurance no deposit. I told her I’d give her half of the insurance payment for the 2 months we were planning on being gone.
Our parents were less than thrilled but they did give us a nice chunk of change to use on our adventure. They also insisted that we take my older brother with us, which was fine. He’d just graduated college and was looking for a way to postpone being an adult. They laid out some other rules, too. We had to stop and stay with relatives every few days so they knew we were alive. Out cross-country trip ended up only taking us about ⅓ of the way across the country by the time we fulfilled all the requirements they set out for us, but I get it. They’d know we were safe and we still got to have a once in a lifetime trip.
How cheap no deposit car insurance helped us
Doing everything as cheaply as possible was key, obviously. The 3 of us split everything for the tie we were gone. Splitting cheap car insurance ( Which we found here by the way: https://www.autoinsurancemonkey.com/very-cheap-car-insurance-no-deposit-quotes/) 3 ways makes it even cheaper. Camping saved us on hotel stays, though we did try to stay in one at least 2 nights a week if only to shower, sleep in a real bed, and stuff our faces with free breakfast.
I’m not going to say the whole trip was possible because of the no deposit car insurance, but it was pretty much the first step in the plan and the point where everything started going right. Had we not been able to find it, we definitely wouldn’t have been able to enjoy ourselves as much because we’d be worried about the added expense. It’s funny how little things like that can change your perspective on everything.
